Are you MAX ready ?

The GPS-Buddy MAX products are software especially designed to work with Garmin GPS devices. Switched on, your Garmin GPS records location, speed and direction of the vehicle.

To be able to download the information from the Garmin GPS device to the MAX applications, you will need a Garmin Communicator plugin on your PC.

 

How to download the Garmin plugin:

 

Step 1:
Go to Garmin website; http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator
Mac users have to follow instructions to download for Mac, they can be found on http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=3739

  
 

Click on

 

Step 2: 
Windows will ask you to save the plugin installation file. Click 'Save'

 
 
   

Step 3:
The file will be saved in a suggested location on your hard-disk. Click ‘Save’

  
 
   
 

Step 4:
Windows will automatically ask you to run the installation procedure, if not go to the location where you have saved the file and double click the Garmin Communicator Plug-in icon. Then click 'Run'

Before doing this, don't forget to close all your internet browser windows !!

 
 

Step 5:
You will be asked to accept the terms and condictions of the license agreement to be able to download and use the plugin

  
 

Step 6:
Click the checkbox ”I accept the terms in the license agreement”

Click ‘Next’ to continue installation.

  
 

Step 7: 
(Optional) Note: The installation procedure can only continue if all the internet browsers are closed. Please close all your internet browser windows

  
 

Step 8:
Please click ‘Next’ to continue

  
 

Step 9: 
Click ‘Done’ to finalize the installation

  
 

Step 10:
The installation is completed. You can surf to http://max.gps-buddy.com and login with the login data you have received in your email.
